Las Cruces College (NMSU)

Originally opened as the Las Cruces College in 1888, [New Mexico State University] went through two more name changes until settling on NMSU in 1960. The university is home to the New Mexico Space Grant Consortium, whose goal is to establish and maintain a national network of universities with interests and capabilities in aeronautics, space and related fields.
